West Chiltington is conveniently located near to the South Downs and towns of Arundel, Goodwood and Chichester and Horsham. We are equal distance between Gatwick Airport (30 mins drive) and Brighton, on the South Coast (30 mins drive). We are also around a 1 hour drive from Heathrow airport.
The village has a 12th Century Church, post office, a pub and provides a tranquil retreat from modern life and was mentioned in the Domesday Book as Cilletune. The beautiful church still stands centre stage in the midst of the village with its original stocks.
The Old School House is a former school built in 1876 and converted into a private residence in 1976. The house provides 3 individual bedrooms to a high and stylish specification:
Some rooms feature orginal victorian beds with sumptuous, deep sprung mattresses. Our En-Suite and middle bedroom are afforded a view to our front garden and village life. Each bedroom has a private bathroom or ensuite, fitted with power showers or deep feature baths. All rooms have thick, fluffy towels and robes, and come stocked with our bespoke range of toiletries. Modern conveniences include TV inc DVD, hair dryer and alarm clock.
